About Wemyss Bay Train Station
The station incorporates the Caledonian MacBrayne ferry terminal connecting mainland Scotland to Rothesay on the Isle of Bute. Designed by James Miller in 1903 for the Caledonian Railway and restored in 2014-16, the station is now Class A listed and is noted for its ambitious architectural properties, primarily its use of steel and glass.
