Following the sign-posted trail, this route will initially conduct you through clear-felled woodland alongside a fast-flowing pebbled burn. The walk is mostly in ascent, until the clearing is reached at Creag na h-Ennie and the route levels out temporarily before descending towards the loch itself. A site of stunning natural beauty and diverse wildlife, Urie is well worth the challenging climb.
