This walk takes you from the historic port of Ayr past sandy bays, Prestwick airport and the Troon ferry terminal. The sights include St John’s Church, still with Cromwellian muskets ball dents in the lower walls, Loudon Hall (the oldest building in Ayr), a long promenade, sandy beaches and Troon harbour.
