Adventure Carrick

Adventure Carrick is a branching arm of the charity Adventure Centre for Education (ACE) based in Girvan, South Ayrshire, South West Scotland. ACE is licenced under the Adventure Activities Licencing Service and has been providing high quality activity experiences to a variety of client groups since 2005.

Adventure Carrick is open all year round and offers a variety of adventure activities to individuals, families and groups who may reside or be planning a visit to the beautiful south west of Scotland. One of their key strengths lies in their ability to be completely mobile in terms of venues offered and being flexible in their approach to itinerary’s. They have fantastic relationships and links with local accommodation providers which allows them to be able to offer a bespoke service wherever possible.

They have a broad range of activities on offer to suit all seasons and geared for all levels and abilities. Whether its leaping into the sea from the rocks and cliffs in the summer or warming yourself round a fire that you've created in the middle of winter. Adventure Carrick have the skill, knowledge and great personnel who will make sure your adventure with them is fun and one you'll never forget.

Some activities are seasonal but Adventure Carrick have a wide variety for you to choose from. Each activity is geared to suit the age and ability of the participants.
You can choose from Stand up paddle boarding, coasteering, gorge walking, canoeing, kayaking, mountain biking, hill walking, rock climbing, abseiling, bush craft, archery, woodland warriors, overnight camps, holistic adventures.

Adventure Carrick are certified activity providers within the Galloway and Southern Ayrshire UNESCO Biosphere which has been recognised internationally as a world class environment for people and nature. The UNESCO Biosphere designation recognises the magnificent array of landscapes, wildlife, cultural heritage and learning opportunities that south west Scotland offers for communities, businesses and visitors to experience and celebrate in a sustainable way.

The Biosphere covers an area of over 5,300 square kilometres of wild lands, lochs and hills and takes in 3 local authority areas which form part of the partnership which manages the Biosphere.

With this in mind Adventure Carrick have created a bespoke package of multi-day adventures within the world renowned Galloway and Southern Ayrshire Biosphere.
