About
Old Dailly Blue Stones
Anchored to wall and ground to prevent theft, these special stones are reputed to instil peace of mind and even fulfil the wishes of those who touch them. The stones went on public display in the remains of the ancient church in 2001.
Improvement of mental health conditions such as stress and anxiety have been attributed to visitors’ prolonged physical contact with the stones; physiological symptoms such as headaches and increased heart rate are also reported as being reduced by being near or touching the Blue Stones. The Stones’ folkloric or even magical properties have attracted more tourist interest to the Church and graveyard, and placed Old Dailly firmly on the map.
