Glecknabae Cairn

Upon the sloping Glecknabae Farmstead lies a bronze age Clyde-type chambered cairn. Documentation of excavation from the early 1900s details how fragments of bones were found alongside fragments of artefacts such as round-bottomed bowls, beaker fragments, flint scraper and a vessel 'like a flower pot'.
