About
Harbour Art Centre
The Harbour Arts Centre, located in Irvine, began its life as a seamen’s mission. The Mure family, opened the Mure Mission Hall in 1888, with George Duncan as missionary, and it soon became a popular venue. It changed between many different hands until major renovations took place between 2004-07 improved its function as an art centre and performance place.
Now the centre provides a vibrant programme of activities throughout the year: live music, comedy, theatre and exhibitions. It contains two multipurpose studio spaces along with a gallery and a café bar.
