About
Geraldo's of Largs
Independently owned and operated by Toni Dawson and her mother Caroline, Geraldo's is situated in the picturesque seaside town of Largs, offering local residents and visitors to Ayrshire an awe-inspiring range of artisan ice cream, handmade chocolates, premium drinks and beautifully packaged gift confectionery.
Awarded 5 stars by Visit Scotland, Geraldo's is currently the first and only tourist shop in Ayrshire with this top rating.
Geraldo's manufactures their own brand of ice cream on-site. Their unusual flavour combinations have won numerous awards and they also offer a range of gluten free and vegan options. With an array of cones, sprinkles, sundaes and the option of a warm nutella sauce topping from their chocolate tap, it's no wonder their ice cream is popular all year round. It’s never too cold for ice cream!
Throughout the calendar year, particularly Easter and Christmas, the shop is a haven of seasonal confections with visitors coming from far and wide to make this a must-see visit for unique gifts. Bespoke hampers are something of a specialty and, being fully licensed, the selection of over 70 craft gins, Scotch whiskies, fine wines and unusual liqueurs add something extra to your gift.
If you are looking for a chance to sample some premium drinks, then head to Largs for a free Saturday afternoon in-store tasting session. A big supporter of the Scottish gin and whisky industry, Geraldo’s staff are accredited as Gin and Whisky Ambassadors and the shop regularly hosts in-store tastings and masterclasses. Keep an eye on their website for all the details.
Open 7 days all year round and until 10pm between April and September there is plenty of opportunity to visit this delightful shop in Largs.
