Ettrick Bay

Ettrick Bay is a stunning, wide sandy beach on Bute’s west coast. The clear waters hug the coast for about a mile, and the Bay is popular with both tourists and locals. It was once used for practice training for the D-Day landings by the armed forces.

Ettrick Bay Tearoom overlooks the beach and is known for its delicious home cooking, ice cream and stunning views of Arran. There are toilets, parking and a picnic area at Ettrick Bay and the closest town is Rothesay, around 15-minute drive away
