After a community buy out from South Ayrshire Council . The Colmonell Community Association (SCIO) has reopened the toilets after 15 years ..!
They have been upgraded and they are being maintained and cleaned daily . With a supply of sanitary products provided .
Baby changing facilities are available in both male and female toilet areas ... & the full mobility access area is part of the female section
They are adjacent to the bus stops served by Shuttle bus service 362 during the day ,and Stagecoach services 58 and 358 during the evening
They are very close to section 10 of the Whithorn Way Route, situated within the acclaimed Galloway and Southern Ayrshire Biosphere, and provide a useful addition to the attractive facilities - venues of the village which include the compact Community garden, a wonderful spacious adjacent play park ,bowling green & club , an exciting international artist's gallery, The renowned St Colman's Church ( see COIG entry ) and river Stinchar walks , and cycling all of which can be viewed and accessed via our web site ...link below
work has been ongoing to upgrade the toilets to full mobility status and is nearing full completion as at june 22nd 2022
