Some of the best ideas are conceived around a kitchen table… ours was one of them. Our story began in 1989 with the toss of a coin in a cottage kitchen; a decision by Janet and Iain Russell to sell their small, family-run provisions business and evolve their passion for provincial culinary recipes into home-grown skincare formulations. Inspired by the natural, vibrant and evocative sights and scents that surrounded their home on the Isle of Arran, they yearned to gift visitors to the island a unique and truly memorable piece of Arran to take home.
