Mapes of Millport
As a family business, we have been serving the Island of Cumbrae since 1946. Now we are the only accredited bike business on the island with two GOLD Velotech trained mechanics, so rest assured you are in safe hands.
We have Scotland’s largest and most varied fleet with over 400 bicycles including, tricycles, tandems, quadricycles, tagalongs, kiddie cabs, baby carriers, electric bikes, dog carriers, stabilizers, unicycles and even mobility scooters and wheelchairs for hire by the hour, day or week or more. We also sell new bicycles and service existing ones. Our Toy Shop carries an extensive range of toys and games from leading manufacturers feel free to visit our online shop. Fishing tackle is also available to be purchased.
We are located in the building right in the middle of the prom opposite the flagpole and the Crazy Golf. You can contact us by phone, email, post or just use our online enquiry form.
For bookings of 15 cycles or more, we offer a 10% discount if you pre-book and pay as a group. ALL our bikes are serviced by Gold Standard, Velotech trained Bicycle Mechanics to maintain them for the rigorous mileage they cover however if for any reason you do break down contact us as we do offer a roadside assistance service, even dropping off a replacement bike if required to ensure your journey continues.
